Hey everyone! been a while since i posted..
Just been sooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO busy with work.. and no place to fly.. I havnt had much to say =).
Anyways, I found a local park that i was able to get a few flights in before Some little kids showed up to play kick ball.. but they had a fun time watching =).
So i do have places to fly.. just have to be really considerate of other people and get the bird down when people show up..
Anyways. How is everyone? I
ts freezing here in newyork! BRRRRR [&o]
Any neat winter projects you care to share? =)

I found a parking lot in a somewhat abandoned shopping center that I was using for my smaller electrics and park flyers. Worked great until they put a new store in there... no more parking lot room to fly in unless I decide to fly at 2:00 am!!
Getting ccccolder in NJ now. Weather has been gorgeour for the past several weeks. We're gonna pay for it, I know!!!

Hey on snow does anyone know of a good ski for a 20 oz plane. The DuBro plastic are not what I want. Been bending 1/32 ply into forms but a lot of playing to get the ski to glide. Boy what a blast when it works, just try not to run it over with the snowmobile.

Boy yall think its cold in Minnesota and New Jersey!! You should come to South Carolina! I mean, today It got down to something like 60.
I almost thought about putting on long pants and a jacket. But then I thought "What the heck!!" and stayed in flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt.

Man do we have it tough

What is this stuff you people call "snow"?
It snows here once every 15-16 years, and last year it snowed here. We must've gotten two inches in a day! [X(]
And that was in the higher elevations...down in the valley where I live, we barely got anything. It was kind of funny to see all the people with lifted four wheel drive pickups drive at 10MPH in four wheel drive low range. Most people have lifted pickups here for the Oceano Dunes, and the mud; but hey, if they have tires rated for mud, then they are rated for snow! (dry humor)

Bummer. Well I guess you will have to stay on the cold, far side of the country.
As for Ken, Colorado is colder than Oklahoma anyway so you're good.

I haven't talked to him in about 3-4 weeks. But it shows his last logon was about a week and a half ago.
So I see that he's still checking up on us.

basicly... Pending me winning a megamillion Lottery IE 800+ million.... I would buy a few hundred acres.. probably 1500+.. and Level it.. Make the most luchious fields and flying space anywhere..
I would have paved runways.. Helicopter pads.. Viewing towers... Heck! Some form of Nice lodge on the property! And have year round flying!.. and for windy days.. Id invent a Wind screen so big it would go a mile up! and stop the wind and rain and Storms!
in other words!
long hours at work still... Somthing about going to work and it being dark... and leaving work.. and it being dark.. really put a hurt on a mans Soul and will to get out there and fly...
At least christmas is almost here.. and its a reason to buy nice new goodies for myself!
So whats everyone upto during the holiday season? much flying going on?

hey what part of oklahoma are you in? i normally go out their to visit family in Grove (north of tulsa) about 2 months out of the year.
BTW there is a lot in oklahoma besides wind storms, such as extremely cheap redneck owned hobby stores where you can get stuff for almost half the price of what you can get it for in California.
