This has nothing to do with RC but I don't know where to put this question: I can not view the photos in the threads posted anywhere. All I can see at the bottom of the posts is 'click for fullsize'. I can click on the words and view the photos but I would like to see the smaller versions 1st so I know what the pic is. I can view the pics in Photo Gallery fine, but the thread pics only if I click on the words.

I have just replaced my computer after not having one for over 6 months and it is only a E-Machines 120 GB, 512 MB ram, AMD Sempron Processor 3200 installed in it. I am running it on Windows XP.

With that little bit of info can someone please tell me . . . Why can I not view the pics while they are showing in the threads???

Any advice will be considered.

Can you see any other pictures? If not, did you recently update/modify your browser settings?

do you have a firewall/adaware/pop-up blacker software installed?

I can view pics in the Galleries only, with no problems.
And I have no problem viewing pics at other websites.

Yes, I have ZoneAlarm Internet Security which includes all 3, plus antivirus, spyware, operating system firewall as well as network and program firewall, antispam - - - the whole works.

The pop-up blocker is set at 'allowing pop-ups' for this site and the Firewall is turned on. Let me check the browser settings but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

When I had my last computer 6 or more months ago (It was also a E-Machines with Windows XP) I never had a problem with viewing the thread pics here.

Could it be that at the moment I only have dial-up??? [&o]

Hey Tiger, I have an E-machine at home w/ windows ME and dialup on AOL. I get the pictures in the threads OK. Some stuff is dreadfully slow so I do my serious stuff here. Downloads like manuals and other pdf's, well bring a lunch . I've given up on them at home until I get at least DSL.

try turning your zone alarm off then see if you can view them.turn it off reload the page if it works you need to tweak the settings if not then you need to look in your IE Internet settings.

Well. Here it is 11:30 P.M here, and I can finally view the pics properly in the threads. I turned my firewall on and off and tried and behold . . . pictures
