Anyone know who bought Carl Goldberg models? At Christmas I ordered an Eaglet 50 from Tower only to find out that whom ever makes those kits will not have any made for 3-4 months.... So I bought a SIG Senorita.... I still like Goldberg... any one have any info on them.. wonder if the quality will remain.. I always thought they were a good kit.!
Thanks!

Has anyone got one of the "new" kits yet? Just wondering how their quality is now. I have heard good things and bad. From Laser Cutting, to bad wood. Anyone built one or looked at a kit? I love goldberg and have not gotten any yet.

The goldberg models were listed on the tower web site etc. but I found out later after waiting and waiting and waiting that the Eaglet has not been reproduced and will not for some time... Anyway I was just curious. Thanks all! Happy Flying!

Their products are slowly coming into the market again.
I built a Tiger 60 kit last year and had no problems. That was before they shut down and were bought by Lanier.
I bought an Extra 300 kit recently (still building it) and there is no laser cutting on the wood and the quality of it is quite different even on the same pieces. I had to claim an aileron balsa stock (by e-mail) and their response was swift and they mailed the new pice in a few days.
Recently I bought the Tiger 2 ARF (do I like their planes? Yes! More than their products.... think about it!) and upon visual inspection seems to be of very good quality. Nothing is missing to complete the finishing, just the glue. I will reinforce, as I always do with other ARFs, all the high stress areas: firewall, wing mountings, landing gear block, etc. and replace the metal mounting scres by nylon bolts.
I love the way their Tigers fly!
