If it's a 3.25, it is probably an Extra. Lanier still makes the Extra 3.25 kit. Another thing to look at is the airfoil. If it is flat bottom it could be scratch built.

Do these dimensions and profile match your plane ?
If it is, the plane will be a real handful if you don't have a lot of experience with that style of plane.

It appears to not be a lanier, on account of it is cowlless like a trainer. However , it may have been modified, hard to tell from the pics I got, I asked for more and clearer pics, I'll post when I receive them. I kind of hope it is hard to fly, I like the adrenaline rush. Only put one in so far and only broke a horizontal stab on a twist. The entire feild is waiting for my day, they said it will be a good one the way I fly. They tell me I'm crazy, but I get that alot everywhere I go.

It is defenitly an extra and not an edge. The edge has a straight leading edge, and the Extra leading edge is swept back. The .25 was designed on the model to designate the engine size that was published in Model Aircraft News in 1994. It was designed with a flat bottom wing. The same person drew the plans for Lanier which has a symetrical wing. I doubt anyone else produced the Extra 3.25
