id say lt-40. im just now lineing mine out but its a good plane and if you were to go to the for sale forums there are a couple RTF LT-40's in there for 200-300 dollars. thats so good a price I might go get a 2nd one.

Don't overlook the Stick 40 Plus from Balsa USA. It is as ugly as they come, but flies beautifully. Tough as nails, it is my favorite aileron trainer.

I learned how to fly with an electric j3 cub by parkzone and then went to the Hangar-9 Arrow. The cub flies really slow and is very forgiving. As far as starting with a gas trainer the Hangar -9 Alpha 60 size or the lt40 are to very good models.
