just got one yesterday...haven't had a chance to really check it out but here are my dumb questions, is there a battery for the reciever? i know there is a connector on the wall charger for it but as far as i can tell there isn't one, does it just use juice from the motor's battery? if so how do you hook it up? thanks for your help

for the RX or the TX?
the radio got a battery.. chargable.. the pin in the middle is negative
and the RX use power from what you choose from you could use another battery for the recivers power.. but most ESC got BEC that gives power to the reciver
all depends on how you run your flygmaskin
and by the way RTFM

The RX gets power from the ESC.. when you connect the ESC to Throttle cha #1 then it get the 5 volts from the battery VIA the speed controll.. Then when you bind the unit just connect the Channel 1 and put the bind plug in and plug the battery up.. Then the light on the RX should be blinking then push the bind button on the TX and turn it on.. On the DX7 you let go of the bind button.. and it will blink also and then start working.. Should be in your manual.. The connection instructions should be in the manual for the ESC!!
