Default motor mounting

hi, im building a model p40 warbird. with the propeller located on the upper nose and greater room available in the fusulage under the propeller is it possible to mount any gas motor upside down?

If you mean "gas", as in petrol, they are usually mounted inverted. Glow engines can also be mounted inverted, however the height relationship between fuel tank and carburetor is more critical to that type of carb.
