RE: gws r-6n receiver
GWS makes two different versions of this receiver, one for positive shift (JR, Airtronics) and one for negative shift (Futaba, Hitec) for the 72Mhz North Armerican market. Is it possible that you purchased the negative shift version of the receiver and that is why it isn't responding to your JR radio?

The 'F' sticker means it's for Futaba, or negative shift. You have the wrong type of RX.
This will all be a joke in a few years as people switch to 2.4 GHZ. (But you will still have to buy the correct RX for your radio).
