Does anyone know if a JR servo and spektrum Rx will work with a Futaba J extention?

Sure it will. Most you may have to do is trim off the little plastic key on the extension plug. Common practice to do that. Youcan also use any other brand of servo that you wish. You may have to change wiring in plug for some but no big deal there either.
