Good. Even better it states right there:

"Note: Both the Airtronics and JR buddy boxes come complete with the cord. Typically transmitters only work with like brand. E.G. Airtronics with Airtronics etc, however Spektrum brand will work with JR."

i have the 6EXA (the old one), a 8U (another classic discontinued) a bunch of single sticks and a Eclipse 7.

personally, i love the Eclipse 7. it's really easy to use and great value for money from Tower. buddy cord hooks up with my futaba skysport or the 6EXA without any problems. plus, it looks different. the only downside is that dual elevator is hard to set up.
