Default Channel Expander

Im rather new to the hoby and have heard people in forums talk of channel expanders.

What exactly are these, and what do they do?

Can they be used with JR recievers?

Thanks,
Rob in OZ

Channel expander? I am not that new, and I've never heard of that term.

This is one of Futaba's channel expanders. Please take note that it only works with a couple of different (expensive) systems. Another "Encoder" unit goes in the TX.

Will NOT work with JR.
