Hey all,
I have been flying RC planes for about 3 years and have some experience flying 3D . I also fly a TRex 450 Helicopter. I started on a multiplex twinstar, and I got bored as I couldnt progress on to more advanced things. I then bought an Elite from concept models (Kit: http://www.conceptmodels.co.uk/Elite.htm) and have been flying that for a while and having great fun. It doesn't have a lot of power, as it is using a stock brushed 400 motor, but I plan on upgrading to a brushless setup using my 3S LiPos.
But now I want another model
Basically I was just wondering if you guys thought the Fliton Mini series, or the E-Flite equivalent would be a good model for me to move onto?
The mini Extra 330S:

And the mini Edge 540:

I will be flying from a grass field, that doesn't get cut that often so it's usually around 4" long. Will that be too long to land these models on? My Elite manages OK.
Thanks a lot!
Your help is greatly appreciated
