Default diesel engine

Anyone have experience with diesel engines. I am thinking of getting one but I don't know any tech's about them. What would be the equivalent to a .15 nitro?

RCU has a diesel forum - they should be able to answer all your questions. My diesel experience goes to the point of the Davis conversion that is waiting to be installed on my TD .049.

Don't do an .049...HG check with Tim W. over in 1/2A,,its too much of a PITA to bother with, you'll just break the crank on a TD if you try it....Rog

The expert is in your part of the world. See http://www.cafes.net/doctordiesel/ and buy his book, the only one on diesel engines for planes.

My opinion is that if it needs a .15 glow engine, it pretty much needs a .15 diesel. This is based on some diesel experience.
