Default Airplane setup help using lipo/electric motor?!?!

I have a 47 inch cessna plane...the plans say it can be nitro or electric...the instructions are vague to say the least...It says either use a 400 speed motor or .19 nitro...
I'm trying to make it electric, but know nothing about lipo batteries or esc or motor size/type...
Is there anyone that can lead me in the right direction?
Thanks

You will need to know the approximate weight of the plane to select a motor. I think you would be OK with a Hacker 20-20L and a Phoenix 30 ESC, but you may not need that much power for that plane.

Get some more info and...NEVER underpower your airplane. [8D]

Thanks,
I'll weigh it today and maybe put that on here tonight for more opinions...
I appreciate the information.

you will need to know what the AUW will be... not what it weighs now.....
