Trainers
#26
If I can make a suggestion, I would wait and talk to your instructor or the club you want to join before purchasing anything. There may factors you will need to consider that are unique to your club before buying a trainer. For example, when I joined my club, I was, and still am, one of a handful of members who use JR. The club did not have a JR buddy box so it limited who I could train with, and when I could train until a JR buddy box was found. The club has been great about working with me and I did buy a JR to Futaba trainer cord so it wasn't a big deal, but you want everything to be ready when you are ready to begin training. Your instructors may also have preferences and experiences with certain trainers that could affect your decision.

After pounding the drum on behalf of Thunder Tiger trainers for many months now, I have to say I am quite grateful to finally see a thread where folks are sounding off and praising Thunder Tiger trainers.

That's fine, linkadrip was asking some new questions in this thread, which kept it going a while longer. Congrats on soloing if I hadn't mentioned it previously.
