I just did my second ever canapy installation on a H9 T-34. I was so proud of myself. It looked great whilst in the garage.

I took the plane out in the light, and I can see soap film from me washing it before I put it on. The soap film is bad.

What are my options?

If I try to pull off, the covering will rip off, correct?

I was thinking about drilling a hole and taking a siringe and injecting hot water in the canapy, while the plane is upside down.

Anyone have any input?

Hi, I attached with canapy glue and 10 screws.

depending on what type glue you used (i take from your post you glued it) you may be able to loosed the glue and remove it.

I've put a few of the H9 T-34's together for club members and I've used 8 #2 cap head screws for securing the canopy and it looks great, fits perfect and is easily removed

EDIT: seams we posted at the same time, if you used RC56 canopy glue, you can heat it (don't deform the canopy) and wipe with an alcohol soaked cloth to loosed and remove the glue.

soap scum doesn’t come off that easy, putting hot water on it I don’t think will dissolve it all. I tint my canopies with rit dye, finger prints aren’t as visible if I happen to get them inside .I don’t use canopy glue much anymore, I use screws and cut strips of the covering I use and tack it on the seams. if you ever do have to remove a canopy for any reason it is pretty easy to do that way.

Thank you. That sound dangerous, pointing my heat gun at the canapy and trying only getting the edge. :-(
