Default Foam covering

I recently purchased a foam trainer for my first plane. Other than a few decals there is nothing on the plane. Can this model be covered with anything that will improve appearance and perhaps add strenth. First flight next week!

Thanks,
Jim

you can cover it....if you want it too look different ..you might just want to fly it and make sure nothing happens before you cover it..if it does not say anything about covering it..i wouldnt worry untill a lil later.
just my 2 cents

If it's glow-powered, then it must be covered

yeah , gotta have more info........is it glow or electric, is it painted foam?........if its electric then anything you add will only add weight not strenth, if its glow then you got problems cause there is very little in the way of foam that will stand up to glow power or exhaust unless its really low nitro fuel.........Rog

first flight next week???!!!!! is there no child in you? go out and fly that thing tomorrow.........

It doesn't HAVE to be covered. I've seen many bare foam wings fly with glow power (Dura-Planes for example). But you certainly CAN cover it if you want to. I would suggest Ultracote or some other LOW TEMP covering. (i.e., not MonoKote)
