Hopefully tomorrow I'll maiden the alpha 40.
Here's my list:
1)plane w/ wing,rubberbands
2)fuel,pump,glow ignitor(charged)
3)tx/rx batteries are charged, transmitter in tool box, tool box
4)digital volt meter
5)extra prop,tape
6)Instructor with breakfast paid for by me.
Anything else come to mind that I overlooked?

Hey,johntammi,
I wish you lots of luck with the maiden but I'm far to new to this sport to make any sensible comments on what you need.
Good luck johntammi.
Paul.

On a serious note: don't forget paper towel and windex for clean up if you fly glow fuel.
Del
P.S. Any experienced guys have better ways for clean up?

Don't forget your wallet ..... your instructor wants that breakfast. You ought to make him pay. After all, he gets to fly Your New Plane!
I maidened my SSE today. Haven't seen my instructor in 34 years. He's probably still sitting at McDonalds waiting on "his" breakfast!

Everything went well, only slow up was waiting on the rain to stop after two test runs.
The buddy box lost power so we just handed off my radio, I got to land it twice.
Very stable when wind is down, alittle jittery when calm gusts.

5-8 mph would have been more appropriately worded. The evolution pts motor was one of the smoothest running out there today once we leaned it some.
