Had my first flight with my SE kit today. What a great plane. It handled the 10mph winds well.

I used low rates and about 35 exp.

I have a picture in my gallery.

Hope next Sunday is like today.

Sig Somethin' Extra is a great fun plane to fly - just make absolutely sure about the balance and that the rear wing dowel support is glued in tightly, these are two very good tips that i learned the hard way - one resulting in a crash and the other in a scary flight.

Thank you WerHop! I forgot about the dowel thing! Yes, make sure the back little wood dowel is glued in, like he said. I have also had 1 crash and 1 scary flight before i realized that the dowel moved around and backed completely out of my right wing, making it one big aileron! Never seen a roll rate like that before!
Have fun and good luck
