HI folks,
I know this Isn't the correct forum but I've had no response from the other forum and I only need one or two pointers.
So here goes,
I'm planning on converting my spree sports (low winger) to brushless motor and Li-Po battery,
but I'm confused with all the different types available.
My airplane spec Is as follows.
Weight,(just the airframe+servos no other electrics) =11.7oz/335g.
The normall flying weight used to be (everything installed and ready to fly) = 1lb 7oz/650g.
The brushed motor Is a 380 with gearbox(don't know the RPM as my tacko Is at work at the moment)
the prop Is a 9x5.5,
9.6V battery 750mAh,
25A (brushed) ESC.
What I would like Is a lighter electric set-up with maybe a little more airspeed.
If someone could give me an idea of motor size to use I can work the rest out myself.
Thanks,
Paul.
