Going to convert my LT-40 to a taildragger, and am not sure how to position the wheel on the bottom. How far back should it go from the end of the fuse?
Any suggestions on what to use to connect the control horn to the servo? The directions suggest monofiliment which I think will stretch too much.. I will most likely solder whatever I use to the springs that were included with the kit, but need some suggestions on what material to use...
Any help is appreicated.

The wheels should be placed just in front of the leading edge of the wing. Glue apiece of 1/4" Ply to the bottom of the fuse to attach the gear to. Use nylon bolts, they will break off in the event of a rough landing without alot of damage. Get the Sullivan tail wheel, it has a small spring wire that is inserted into the bottom of the rudder. Don't forget to rebalance your plane.

I appreciate the input, but I may not have been clear. I meant positionin the tail wheel. There is nothing in the instructions on where to put it...
