Default sweeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday I flew my spad and did some low passes for a friend at the field whom was taking pics at the field. I then flew my first low wing and was easy compared to spad. unfortunatly the hatch holding my tank in flew off and was lucky my tank didn't fall out. after i threw some elastics around it I was back in the air. I was so pleased. I now only have 6 more planes to maiden! Man Saturday was SWEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one in first pic is a SPAD combat plane they leave to gear off in the plans for some reason. Never understood that.

the spad has no gear but if it did it wouldn't have enough power to get off and the speed from the throw gives it enough oomph to get airborn, once in the air its a speed freak and fun to fly, the weight of the air craft is heavy but fly's nicely in the wind.

If i recall correctly that SPAD has no rudder either, Right? Is it still pretty agile like that I mean for combat purposes?

I thought the same thing. It's seems to me like that would a little to heavy. If that does work thats great cause that pvc square gutter crap is hard to come by.

Congrats on a smooth maiden.

I'm almost done with my dogfighter and amped to get it up in the air... my first spad.

Build outta gutter downspout but I cheated on getting the coroplast and bought a few sheets vs getting the signs to make it from. Didnt' have any luck with hitting up the local gas stations or supermarkets.
