What is the best motor for the F4U Corsair 50?

What is the best motor for the F4U Corsair 50?
I was told not to put a .40 in it because it was hard to get into the air. So I went ahead and ordered another one the SK .50 engine. Is this one better for this plane? Its the Corsair with the 55" wingspan.

There is no "best" engine, but NEVER underpower a warbird. Cram AT LEAST the largest recommended engine (or a size larger) into it.
