Default Old plane conversion

HI all i have a old plane of mine it has a 1.20m wingspan its made from X foam (What ever that is) and is powered by a 400 motor geared would it be possable to extend the winds to give it more liift rip all the electronics out and install my spear .10 OS LA MAX Engine and 4ch rec and battery i have?
Any help will be much appreciated

It can be done, my pal put a 10 or 15 sized engine on the GWS E Starter, you need to put a ply to make a firewall and then make sure the foam is covered with something to ensure the fuel does not some how make the foam weak.

Yeah, you can do it. Just make sure you epoxy in (fill in.. seal... ) any area that may get in contact with raw fuel. A thin coat of resin, long setting two part epoxy, mixed almost watery in nature.. thin it out with a bit of 90% isopropol alcolol (rubbing alcohol with no additives). The alcohol will evaporate away but it makes the epoxy thin enough to apply with a brush and let it set overnight. Coat the area inside the engine compartment, coat the area around the fuel tank, and anywhere that fuel lines may go if you route them through the firewall, for instance.
