Default Field Boxes out of Tool Boxes

I was wanting to make a field box out of the Wal-mart Tool Stanley Tool Box on wheels and was needing any suggestion on how to make it work. Anyone that has completed a project like this, your advise and suggestions would be appreciated. I have tried to attach a piture bleow?.?

JustDreamin - just throwing this out there. Your rolling toolbox looks good when converted. Couple of pics in these threads.

One of my mates use one of these as a flight box for a while, worked well.

12V at the bottom give it stability.

I made one out of a toolbox as well. I love it. I hated having to carry a heavy box to the flightline. Now I just roll it out there.

kid in that pictures a bit young isnt he? :P

i use an old fishing tackle box, but its not very big and i cant fit a 12v battery, charger or starter in there as i also use it for my trucks, its packed with old servos, suspension arms, shocks, bumpers, diffs, gearbox parts e.t.c

Kid in the picture is my 10 yr old son, He's been flying for a yr now, Thinks he can outfly the OldMan now. (Don't tell him but it won't be long & that will be true)

I have a tool box just like that. It just so happens I put all my hobby stuff in there. I haven't even thought about doing the actal field box conversion yet. Great Idea!
