Default Help. Problem with my 4*.

Ok ive taken a break from my four star .40 for like 2 weeks now and when i came to back to it i noticed that my wings a slightly swept forward. Its really not that noticable but its there. Im guessing its between 3 to 6 degrees. Other than that both wings are identical and nearly flawless. How bad do you think it is? Im a little worried it wont fly well or even fly at all. Do you think its ok or would i need to scratch build another wing?
Sorry i dont have a digital camera so your going to kinda have to use your imagination.

Thanks alot,

Papa

there are planes with swept foward wing . They fly great and have no trouble. If it is not noticable I won't tell any one ,Fly the tail off of it.

I agree. Just make sure when you mount the wing that both wingtips are the same distance from the rear of the fin, you should have no problem.

Default Forward swept wings.

Forward swept wings usually create a slightly faster responding plane with better slow speed characteristics and a slower stall speed. In other words it should fly great! Have fun, Fast!

Great drawing Mike! As they said, fly it and have fun. Won't be a problem. I have seen some pretty messed up planes and they flew good. Glad to see your still with us and having fun.

Ok thats a relief, im not sure how it happened but at least the wing tips are even from the fuse.
And yes im still here haven't crashed yet (crashing with my trainer doesn't seem to concern me really i have a good instructor) and im having alot of fun. I dont know why but it seems its taking longer to get my wings then i expected. Is it harder to land and take off in the snow with skiis or something? I guess its because i never practiced on a simulator, if they werent so expensive.

Anyways thanks alot,

Papa

You will get it. The snow is fun. I must have done 100 touch and goes saturday. Left ski touch one time, right the next, both the next. What a blast. Was having fun trying to get the other guys to do just one ski touches. Did a bunch of formation landings with a guy I soloed a few weeks ago. I think I was making him nervous. Landed with my wing between his wing and stab. He did great though. Keep having fun.
