Default DuBro Spinner - Add Washer?

I really like the DuBro spinners, but the are recessed in the back where it meets the engine. This causes an issue when I try to put in on some of my models as the back plate will rub against the plane. Is there any reason that I can not put a washer between the back plate and the engine to space it out farther? Moving the engine forward is not a real good option for me at this time.

Nope, no reason at all. Go ahead and put a washer under there to move it out a little bit.

Hey games, I had the same issue with my H9 Arrow and chose a slightly different route. Everyone at the field was mystified with the flywheel that comes with the PTS Evo engine. I chose to eliminate it altogether with the prop driver washer that comes with the Evo 46. Easiest $2.99 decision I made. The engine transitions to full throttle and back down again a bit quicker without all that extra weight on it.

It's there to make the idle more reliable and the tuning range a bit broader.

I don't know if there is a difference but this is the one I bought.

I knew that was what it was for but once the engine is well broken in and tuned right it is kinda redundant.
