2nd plane, first build pick question
I've never done a full build since 30 years ago building CL stunters. So I have some building experience plus lots of time fixing, recovering etc. my RC trainers. So next I want to do a full build for a second sport plane, and I really love the looks of the Slow Poke, and the Pete 'N Poke, those kind of retro looking planes that would make a nice sport second plane. I know I could build the garden variety sport kits, but just wondering if anyone would reccommend anything else in the "looks cool vintage-ish" sport 40-size category.
At my pace with my spare time this will at best be a next fall/winter project, nothing I need to get done and fly this summer. I'm in no hurry. In other words, I have lots of time to consult the forums if the build is a little difficult along the way. I'm not concerned about it not being a "first-time build" type of kit.
