is it ok to install a t fitting in the fuel tube going to the carb and to use a fuel dot to fuel without flooding the engine?
thanks, dave trimmer

Dave , that won`t work well for you. You are better off running a seperate line with its own clunk. I tried the T thing and it just caused lots of problems flooding. I had to close the HS needle every yime I fueled

A clunk on the third line makes it easier to defuel, otherwise you have to put the plane on its nose. Besides, might as well do something with that other country's junk hardware. (not allowed to say chinese anymore).

i was told it wasnt really that good to have two clunks in there bumping into each other and rolling over each other and such. i do have this two clunk setup in a couple of my planes and have had no troubles at all. makes sense to me to have a clunk on the fill/drain tube so to be sure all the fuel is being removed during the pump out. another vote for the three liner..."cheers!"

That advice wouldn't come from someone who has used two clunks for years and years and years. As you also note.
It is the kind of advice that strikes some people as ignorant. The person giving it is actually ignorant of how well something works because he's not actually tried it. And in a whole lot of cases that's true. The adviser is often repeating something he thinks must be true.
If you've ever setup a two clunk tank and then watched the two clunks "fly formation" you find out for yourself how silly it is to think they'd roll over each other and such. And you'd also know that whomever advises otherwise probably hasn't even assembled a two clunk tank.
But sometimes that adviser really has experience of his own with a tank he did himself. And what do you know about him when you find that out?

you're right...da rock....this guy is wicked old school and really has some issues. he thinks there's only one way to do things in this hobby...."his way". but anyway, i know there's always something new to learn and you just have to be open minded. i use two clunks..he uses tubing bent to the bottom of the tank...both methods work well....no big deal. it's all good. you've got some really nice models da rock. i love the cap 232. i lost mine on a windy day at our field. i should have known better than to fly it that day but, oh well....live and learn. i'll have another one someday...it'll be a bit larger too so these aging eyes can see it better. that one had two clunks in it too by the way...a perfect setup.
