Default How much control throw?

Am finishing up rebuilding my Great Planes Trainer 40. It was in storage for about 18 years. Recovered it, installed new radio, crocked potted the engine and installed all new hardware. Could have bought an ARF for less than it cost me to rebuild this thing, but the building is have the fun for me. Pulled out the original plans to check for control throws and found that corner gone. Now i don't know what sort of control throws should be for the Ailerons and elevator. Does anyone have any idea of the standard rule of thumb for trainer contol throws. It has a symmetrical airfoil and a tapered trailing edge, if that makes any difference.
