Hello Everyone,
I have a question. I was thinking about buying another RC and i found a website that sale a particular RC i want, but i'm too sure about the site. The site is BananaHobby.com. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about this site or has bought anything from this site. If Anyone has any info about this site i would greatly appreciate it.

If you have found something you want and are unsure about the retailer, ask your LHS. OR...find another vendor. If it's an exclusive item and you are unsure, PASS.
There is a lot of JUNK out there.
Talk to someone, (who can actually fly), at your field if you have specific and immediate questions.
Good Luck!!

Can't help with that.
BTW - Here's a thread about another E-store that's "well stocked" and been in business for a while. Demonstrates that you need to check up on who you buy from.

Here are a few first hand reports:

I make it a habit to never buy from a place which does not list an address. I also don't usually buy from anyone who charges a restocking fee. Personally, I'd steer clear.

Yeah, good advice. There are many reputable sites, many of which advertise here on RCU, that you can depend upon to give you a good deal and give you what you paid for. Two years ago, I bought a model from a vendor that was advertising a pattern type plane and the price was great, so I bought it. When I got it, well, it was great looking plane, but there were no directions at all, no instruction booklet, nor anything to help me with building this ARF. I eventually traded it to a friend who has been working on it, on and off, for a year or so. He is more knowledgeable and experienced with this sort of thing and he was having some problems. And, as it turns out, this was one of those Chinese imports that were warehoused and posted for sale. It is a nice looking model, seemed like it would be a well constructed build, but a tad bit beyond my capabilities at the time.
So, let the buyer beware!!! Stick with the reputable sites and recommended ones.. or your local hobby shop (LHS). You can't go wrong.

I don't see anything there labled "RC Jet Ski Boat". Can you post a link to the specific one? They're all so cheap that even if you get screwed you won't lose much. They're almost too cheap to be any good.

Well, I have read some other post where people bought things from them and they say what they got didnt work. So i'm not going to buy from them. Do you know anything about Raidentech.com?

I guess the question you can answer for all of us is what it is that you want to buy? Can you describe it better than 'jet boat'? That may give us a hint as to what we can suggest.
As for me, I am pretty much an RC Flyer and have not done boats. I've also done cars, by the way.
Tower Hobbies is one good place for a lot of the RC hobby products. Did you look there? In addition to a great selection of all sorts of products, you will probably get a pretty good price from them too.

At the top of every page on RCU is a button labeled "SEARCH." On this site, it really is your friend.
If you search for Raidentech you'll find lots of bad reports and some good ones.
Here are the addresses of three online sellers (in alphabetical order) that have a good reputation:
www.globalhobby.net
www.horizonhobby.com
www.towerhobbies.com
I know there are other good suppliers, but, these are a good starting point.

Well Not to sound mean, but my very first question was just general anyway. I just wanted to know if the first site is stated was a good place to order from and that was it. but someone on here ask me what i was looking for so i told them. It the site it's self is not a good site to order from whether it be boat or plane or car, someone should know being as though it claims it sale them all.

My only reason for suggesting moving this thread to the boat forums is that you'll be able to draw on a larger audience of people who have boating experience. This will help you get a better answer to your follow-up questions. Something you'll find is that the place plane people go to shop may not be the same as the ones boat and car people shop. For example, I've bought way more plane stuff than I should from Tower Hobbies. [X(] Much of my boat stuff has come from other places...

I've purchased a few things from Raidentech.com, and I've been happy with them from a store perspective. Fast shipping, good communication, no trouble with transactions.
You need to know exactly what you're buying from them, however, and realize that they don't manufacture or service anything they sell. If you have problems with an item you purchased from Raidentech, you're not going to get the kind of support from them that you might from a dedicated hobby company.
I've been flying a Falcon 40 fixed-pitch RTF helicopter that I bought from Raidentech for $85. It's very, very similar to the Global EF Sabre RTF or the Venom Night Ranger II RTF helicopters (as in, interchangable parts kind of similar) but sells for barely half the price.
I also bought a .40-sized glow trainer from them last year for $38.95 plus shipping. I replaced the rubber stopper for the fuel tank with a Sullivan stopper, and the ARF was missing the aileron pushrods, but otherwise the plane was pretty decent for $38.95. I could have gotten mad at Raidentech because the pushrods were missing, but I just went and picked up a couple at the hobby store.
Raidentech didn't make it, Raidentech doesn't support it, Raidentech just moves the boxes. As long as you understand that, Raidentech is a good company to do business with.
