HI again
How do you remove the coloring that sometimes appear on landing gear during manufacturing? Almost the entire bottom of my landing gear has blue coloring on it. What do you use to remove that?

I don't have experience with landing gear yet, but just looking at the pic.... Wouldn't sanding with a medium grit sand paper rub that right out?

I agree with krossk...there is a product thats very dangerous to use, highly flammable, will absorb through the skin, and is an inhalation hazard. don't use it near any flame pilot lights etc...no smoking or you will die. called MEK if the blue will come off, this will do it.
dont worry the stuff hasn't killed me yet...its quite common in aviation maintenance and has recently been carried in Wal Mrt stores

just an abraisive would do it - i think as mentioned plain old steel wool would do a great job (with or without the lapping compound)
also, i like the way you've mounted the landing gear (rubberbands) i might incorporate it into a next build
to add a bit more "crashability" to it
