Hi all..first post!I recently acquired a trainer type plane.It is a very nice and complete kit made by Modelhob of Spain(the Coyote)In the wings it has plastic (poly of some sort)ribs.I need to glue these to hardwood re-enforcements.CA doesn't seem to have any affect.Any ideas?Thanks

They are similar to US AIRCORE which uses Contact cement or RC 56 for plastics or glass. RC 56 takes a long time to dry. Contact is much faster but don't make a mistake once the parts are joined they are stuck.

If there is a section that you can test glues on, then that's what I would do. Epoxy might stick or it might peel off the plastic. Maybe Weldbond would work. It's hard to say without knowing specifically what kind of plastic it is.
