Default Travelling with my plane

I’m going to England in a couple hours and plan to bring my Stryker f27c along. Thing is I’ve got all these little things nagging away at me which is why I’m posting.

Is it going to get through customs in England? I don’t want to have it confiscated as a bomb threat or something

Do I have to get a special license to carry it around because it is required to carry for sporting equipment?

Are they any kind of restrictions in England about it? I don’t want to fly it and then have the police on me for some reason

Should I disassemble it when I put it in the bag.

So far I’ve just had it in the local park but my grandparents have these huge open spaces where Ill hope to enjoy it.

Thx in advance

You could have a big problem with frequency control. As far as I know the UK operates on 35MHz, whereas the Canada operates on 72MHz. The UK also has different standards to the USA for 2.4GHz that makes equipment purchased their illegal to use in the UK, I assume that Canada has similar standards to the US. Some countries give their custom officials the authority to confiscate anything that does not comply with local regulations so I would conform whether your equipment is compliant before packing it in. The only way that you may be able to use your radio is if it is in the 27MHz band. I think both countries have the same standards but I am not to sure.

Cheers

Look up the UK RC sites ( there are plenty of them... ). Most will have info on flight rules and requirements.
