Default Can't use CA

I am very allergic to CA so I have been using Titebond III. Problem is, that is has a tendency to dry yellow. Is there anything else that doesn't dry yellow. Doesn't look good with clear covering. Thanks

Use plain old white glue. It works very well. I use a combination of CA and wood glue (Mostly CA) but if I'm building, and the white glue is in reach while the wood glue is in another room, I won't think twice about using the white stuff.

thanks MinnFlyer--Just one drop of CA and I can't breath. Almost like Asthma. Is the white glue fuel proof.

Well, I can't say for sure that ut is, but then, It'll never see fuel.

Anyplace that white glue is located will either be internal or under covering.

As for the engine compartment, that should all be epoxy anyway

Have you tried the oderless CA? I wonder if it would help? Tower has some made by Zap.

thanks Dave. Can't use the oderless either. Tried Tower's and Great Planes. I even have a very good respirator. Just lucky I guess. So I do it the old fashion way, kinda like Smith and Barney.

I will try the white glue. I guess it was a dumb question about the fuel proof. I do coat the firewall both front and back with epoxy. Thanks MinnFlyer

Tite Bond II dries more clear and yellowish also but not quite fully clear.

I use elmer's white glue when i built and need balsa to balsa bond. white glue is not fuel proof or any other liquid for that matter. but it makes for great strong bond. for anything else that will take alot of stress such as landing gear block or wing spars I use epoxy.
good luck.
Oh I had a 4 star 60 that I used white glue to build with. I had her for over 2 years had over 175 flights, on one flight I took her way up, power dive vertical down and just yanked on the elevator (wanted to see what would happen) saw the wings flex with no damage. mind you I only did it once....

It's a litte more expensive but I love it used for years now on open CL and all kits. PS the pin applicator is great, cleans with water glue stays a little flexable.

Weldbond; dries clear remains very slightly flexible.
