I was given a nitro trainer "NEXSTART" plane for nothing and the plane has not been used for about a year or so, can someone please advise on the following.
what material should I use to clean a plane.
what should I do to an engine that has not been used for over a year.
thanks Guys and especially Rebecca for giving me the plane.

Clean it with windex or window cleaner. If the engine turns over smoothly and comes up on compressoin go , don`t worry about it. If not try a little light oil , such as 3 in 1.

is that a nexstar
you can just use windex on the plane, as for the motor you might want to find a local flying club and get them to help you. as i see your new here, and i wouldn't want you to hurt yourself or someone else. if you learn properly this is an awsome hobby. if that is the plane, look here for more info on it (http://www.hobbiconexstar.com/manual.html). good luck with it. keep us posted on your progress
