Put monokote trim on

I have a wing already covered with monokote, now I want to put some trim on that matches the other color, do I have to iron it on or can I put in on with some other method? The trim that I want to put on is not the adhesive type but regular monokote.

Ken, will it work the same way with Ultra? And once I applying it with Windex and I push out the moisture and I let it sit for a day... could I run a warm Iron with a " Baby Sock" over it to set the glue a little better? I'm sure you know that I'm going to attempt making that black lightning stripe on my Cub tommaro. I'll take pictures and post the repairs. And yes, I have hairspray and a bag of "Baby Socks."

Luft,
No, Ultracote uses a different adhesive than MonoKote and it is not activated by windex.
This, IMHO is the only advantage of MK over UC

That's what I do since UC works a lot better for me, but I can never seem to get a nice piece of UC trim laid down.

I believe heat is what activates the glue on Ultra. I guess we lay the strip flat, and don't have the Iron too hot and the edge of the trim won't get messed up.
