How instructers feel when a student solos.
This is off subject, but, I've been teaching this young man ( 18 yrs old ) how to drive a truck for the last few weeks and he passed his CDL driving test today.
Kinda makes ya feel good.

My Feedback: (1)
Not at all off subject for the beginners forum Gary and good post.
Folks seem to think instructor/mentors do it for free. No way there is nothing for free, there is a payback and for many instructor mentors that payback is that feeling Gary speaks of.

I charge to teach..my price....teach someone else to fly. I've seen one of my students become club president...it's a great feeling, still waiting for one of my students to pay what he owes me lol
