Hey guys, I remember reading a while back where someone was taking donations for RC gear to send over to our troops. I am curious if anyone knows anything about this? I did a million searches but I cant seam to find the thread. I just upgraded all my radio gear in my Hobby Zone Super Cub and have all the stock electronics and what not for a 3 channel plane... Please advice as I would like to help out if possible...

I also remember reading a few posts on this subject. I don't think any of those were in RCU forums. I do remember that there was one in te RCCA combat forum (I just don't know the URL).

Here's another idea. Sell your parts on ebay and donate the proceeds to the family of a fallen soldier. There are a lot of widows with young kids that are struggling. Make sure you state that it's for charitable causes in the auction and then send proof to the highest bidder.
