Default RE: GOING IT ALONE

Just to throw it in I am self tought on the nexstar as well as helicopters and beleive it is a wonderfull trainer however I got a really good deal on it and probably would not have paid full price for it since for instance the piliot assit is hardly ever used by anyone and the other bells and whistles.#1 dont let anyone tell you its nearly impossible to teach yourself because its not, although some instruction on my part would have be exellent but I am one of those stubborn ones that likes to do things myself.Yes it will be slower and hurt your pocket more but all in all you can say you done it yourself.just dont give it up no matter what happens.good luck and stay safe.

my 2 cents worth,
slow stick is a good idea. it will let you learn on a four channel. and it is easy to fix.
make sure the plane balances front to back AND SIDE TO SIDE. all throws are set to instuction recomendations.

where you will get bit is trimming out the plane. all trainers when trimmed will fly level and straight at a specific throttle setting hands off.
so when you take off climb without turning and level off reduce throttle to around 1/3 and let go BREIFLY. if it climbs or dives adjhust elevator trim if it rolls adjust aileron trim just a clic or two and retry. SMALL CONTROL INPUT will aso help good luck
