my dad just bought this aeroplane off ebay but we dont know what make/model it is, it looks similar to the mick reeves gangster but the engine mounts, dual aileron servos and taildragger landing gear make me think otherwise (gangster has an uoright mounted engine, single servo ailerons and trike style landing gear)
can anyone else help identify this model?
its a 71 inch wingspan with a fuselage length of 56' and is powered by an OS .91 two stroke

Hrmm...
I've seen a couple SS's with fuse mounted gear like that...and in fact, was considering doing the same to mine before I sold it...product of abhoring the stock gear mounting.
Not sure on the tail though...looks ok to me, but then...it's been a WHILE since I had mine.

It has some mods, but as others have already said it is a Super Sportster.
What I see without looking to hard is ...
The gear is moved out of the wing, the engine is turned on it side with sereral changes made up front to accomodate that, and the horizontal stabilizer and elevator is squared off instead of having rounded ends, there is also a wire brace added between the vertical stab and the horizontal stab.
Oh yeah the cockpit is smaller too.
Heck maybe its not a Super Sportster after all

Sorry guy's! It's not a SS,it is infact a SIG 4 Star 60 with modified wing tips and cowling. Here is the link to Sig's 4 star 60's web page so you can see for your selves.
