Default TRAINER 60 MK II

I have a chance to buy a 5 year old 60 mk II with hitec radio
RTF. I'm not sure of the value or if I should get a set up thats older
I'm told it's in great shape. The plane has sat for about 2 years
The plane is with an old florida snow bird an he is done flying due to his health
Thank you MARK

Well, you have NO idea what shape the batteries are in and WE have no idea what model of Hitec it is or why you would want it and what you want to use it for.

It's possibly a good deal and it's possibly not. Hope I've helped.

Is there a question there?
If you are asking if you should buy the airplane we would need more info.
How much is he asking?
What kind of Hitec radio, what engine?
Have you seen it fly?
Is he willing let you fly it first or fly it for you? (at least start the engine up)
Do you have an instructor or experienced pilot that can look it over?

I don't know if I'd agree that it was "the best" but assuming everything works it would be a good trainer. We can't place a value on it though, too many unknowns. Keep it cheap.

I guess one more question.
What MK 2
Right Flyer had a 60 size MK2, MPC has a MK2, SIG Kadet has a MK 2 (not sure if they make a 60 size)there might be more.
The Right Flyer and Kadet are excellent airplanes. and 5 years old is not old for an airplane that is taken care of.

markzr7, you are going to have to give us a tad bit more information than you have.

Look on the radio. Write down what it says on the front, on the back, on the lable, let us know what version of Hitec it is.

Next, see if you can find out what the plane is, what engine it has, what servo's are on it. All these have some sort of lable or stamp that says what they are. The plane, well, ask someone or take a picture of it and attach that picture to a reply. That's the only way we can help you. We have no way of giving you an intelligent answer without this information.
