The DX7 radio system retails for $349 from Horizon Hobby. They are the distributor. You can also find it for less at other locations, as pointed out above. The only problem is if they have them in stock. It's a pretty popular radio system.

There was a thread started a couple of weeks ago with someone asking the same question with one response showing a system available at a different hobby supplier at just under $300. You might peruse through the previous threads and see if you can find it. I checked that one and, at that time, they were in stock.

As far as the DX9 is concerned, well, I'm not sure if Horizon knows when they will be in stock. I know that the receivers are around, my LHS has at least one in stock.

I see myrcsupply has them instock for $291. The only thing is they have ones that say mode 1 (not in stock, but thats not what I want anyways) and MD2 and ones that dont say anything. Can I assume MD2 means mode 2? What about the nothings?

Shorty, they have both mode 1 and mode 2 in stock. Only thing not in stock looks like the heli radio.

Just (this week) got one from RCWarehouse which is in Australia.

Paid $490AUD which was the best price I could find in Oz. Ordered it Monday and it arrived Tuesday, which is pretty good by my reckoning.

My source in Melbourne is $530.

RCW @ $490 is a great deal but after shipping, ill be saving very little and miss the convenience of taking it back to the shop for assistance/issues

Can anyone beat $530 in melbourne?

cheers

They must have raised the price today at MYRC. It now shows $309. Or am I seeing things?

I got a couple of the new 6200 receivers from them, but bought my DX7 used. They do have good prices though and shipped quick.

myrcsupply is by far the cheapest on the net i can find.

i wish to purchase the DX7 package. IE Transmitter radio, 4 servo's and the AR7000 receiver. also i want to get an extra AR6100 receiver.

at myrcsupply the total was $448AUS delivered to the door including shipping from the US. cheapest in Australia is around the 600AUS mark.

but i have to make sure is has the C-tick of approval for the MAAA insurance.

I doubt there will ever be a "DX9", it looks like the JR name is going to be on the Spektrum aircraft radios from here on out. The nine channel radio is the JR X9303, due out later this month:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=JRP2910

Horizon lists them for $729, but MyRCSupply has them listed for $604.

Well, that certainly answers a lot of questions previously asked. I guess the Spektrum is truly a JR. (probably always has been ).

Anyway, no matter. It still is one of the best on the market today.
