Hello guys. Recently, I have just crashed my Parkzone FW190, and i dont knwo what got into me, but i had a crazy idea that just might work. After salvaging anythign i could from my Warbird, I saw that tghe wing was completely in-tact. So, I took the wing of of my cub, strapped down the FW190 wing, and hooked up the servo to the receiver. Ailerons work and everything is good. No, I am just waiting to get a high pitch prop because i woudl think that th eextra weight would maek it hard for the Cub to climb. So, If anyone sees this post andfinds it a little intersesting and are wanting to see how this goes, feel free to post and i will maided this starnge looking bird in a day or two. Hope to hear from you!

Good luck. Try to set the wing up with a little extra "angle of attack" (Ensure the front of the wing is slightly higher than the rear) so as to give yourself the best chance of procucing enough lift. Also use the stock prop. The extra load you will put on your battery through the speed control may just fry one or the other or maybe both. Part of the fun in this hobby is experimenting to see what works. You will learn more by experimenting than we can tell you here. Good luck and I look forward to reading your flight report for the FW-190J-3 Wolf Cub

Haha, thanks. I don't have a speed controller in this plane, it's a cheap one. So, wish me luck when I maiden it. Oh, and also i will be putting a venom fire ball motor in it, i've heard that it is a powerful little thing.

There is a speed controler in it. I had one of these J-3's as my first plane. It is built into the receiver. So if you fry one... there both done. You do have the FW-190 wing set up so the dihedral is up... do you? The hop up engine will also draw more amps than the stock 370 "can" motor. I won't say that it will fry but these planes were not designed for heavy modification without swapping out all of the electronics. I do know that the FW-190 has a jumper on the receiver so that you can use a 3s Lipo instead of the NmHi battery packs though so it may be a better choice. I was wondering though. Both of these planes you are working with are 3 channel and only have 3 channel transmitters. Are you do you have the rudder and ailerons working with this set up? Or did you replace the reciever and using a 4 channel transmitter? Tell me about your set up.

Ok, I unplugged the rudder servo, put it into mode two, adn then hooked up the aileron servo fro the plane. Thast all i did, adn i attached the wing with rubber bands and some string
BTW, what is the dihedral.

Dihedral is the angle between the two halfes of the wing where a flat wing is called "No Dihedral". The angle when the two wing tips are higher than the center of the wing is refered to a positive dihedral and promotes stability. If you have the wing up side down as to efectively have negative dihedral the plane will be very unstable. So if your servo in the wing is facing up out of the top of your plane then you have it with the dihedral up. If you inverted the wing to hide the servo it will be very dificult to fly.

Ok, Here are some pictures before I fly this plane. I'm not sure if it is going to acually fly or just nosedive into the ground. So wish me luck. I will post a video too when i maiden it. Talk to you soon.

Hey man, the flight was rubish. It flew for about 10 seconds then rolled over to its right. What a waste fo time:P Haha, never trying that again(lol)
