Soloed today after just a few flights with the instructors. Hoping to attempt my basic wings in a week or 2 more. Absolutley hooked on this hobby! Thanks to my instructors and the guys at the field!

Now practice those basics A LOT. What you just learned you will repeat with every new plane you get... or after a major repair[:@]
and it will eventually happen so when it does fix it and get back up there. My trusty old Goldberg Eagle II made it for 15 plus years.
I cracked a couple up before that one though.

HollywoodHitman,
Great job on the solo. Now all you have to do is get that silly little grin off your face!!!! Don't really worry about it though, I had the same grin for about 3 weeks after I soled!!!
A solo flight is a great accomplishment and that wins you one genuine RCU ATTABOY (Suitable for framing, wrapping fish, or lining trashcans).
