Default Need help with old Airtronics

I am new to the sport and bought most of my stuff used from a friend. I have a couple Airtronics Vanguard transmitters but one of them needs a new antenna. The local hobby shop did not have the correct replacement antenna and I have since found that it has been discontinued. Does anyone have any old "parts" radios laying around they would be willing to sell an antenna off of?

Sent you my address in a PM. I would be glad to pay you for it, or at the very least, the shipping.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. I just put it in the mail and you should be getting it in a couple of days or so. This is my way of paying it forward for the help that has been bestowed upon me over the past couple of years. I have had a lot of help on this forum, some of it directly and some of it from other Q&A's. When I got into this hobby, it was my goal to get enjoyment from flying radio controlled airplanes. I have since learned it is the comraderie from the other guys in the hobby that make it worthwhile. I hope you get the full enjoyment of the hobby as you persue it.
