Looking to build a Tri-Pacer. Does anyone know of a 1/4 Scale Kit on the market. If not then Can a set of plans be had? Not looking to compete, just want to build one that I used to Fly a long time ago.

From: gone,
Get a good set of 3-views and a Kadet Senior kit. Not much change needed to make the Senior into a Tri-Pacer.
(I think appx 1/5 scale...)
The fuselage is a bit long... and the tailplanes are not quite the right shape. Add the struts and a little reshape of the carved cowl....
Just reshaping the tailplanes and adding struts, its a good stand-off scale Tri-Pacer.

From: gone,
Sterling and Guillows both make Tri0Pacers... about the same size... under 30 inch span and rubber powered. (obviously not what's wanted..)
You'd be amazed at the kit-bashes that have been done based onthe Kadet Sr and Seniorita... Practically anything with a flat bottom airfoil and non-tapered wing, plus some with some taper in outer panels, such as a Cessna-337 (Skymaster).
I'll have to look up the website which has a LONG listing of Kadet bashes... and includes a lot of pictures and drawings of how the bashes were done. (most took very little change to achieve the desired look.)

Thank you Barrick!!!!!!
Just knew there had to be one out there somewhere....Went Sport fishing yesterday (out to the Coronado Islands) so this morning is the first chance I've had to look at the computer. The Link looks very good. Might have to do some mod. to the nose wheel.
Planes last longer with wheels down.
BTW Tailskid, big high five to you, (909) area code is where I live, will call Mon.

BOB HOLMAN is in SAN BERNARDINO California
in case you need to know
HE MAY have some kind of short kit for the TRI-PACER
don't forget to ASK HIM about that possibility
because he has all kinds of "other" stuff, like guns,
parts, etc etc I read somewhere that there are all
kinds of other stuff like short kits as well
Worth the try.
RICK
Glad to be of service

Mr. Barrick (if I may).
Thank you very much.
Ain't that somethin'. a guy from Texas tells me about a person not 5 miles or so from my house!
Will call him tomorrow and hope to get to his place tomorrow afternoon.
OOPS I just noticed that I credited the wrong person with the Bob Holman contact. Please accept my appology Tailskid.
