Default Motor w/pinion

Bought a new Parkzone 370 motor with pinion. However when i got home i noted the new one has 10 teeth, while my old one has 14 teeth.

Is it possible to pop that thing off and swap them? or do i have to go back to the store and exchange.

Yes, but you will end up buying a tool that cost more than that motor. You will need a gear puller to remove the pinions and and a vise to install the one you want.

They are not that expensive and a handy tool to have around when messing with small gears:
