What is the difference between the Futaba 9CAP and the 9CAS which is listed on servocity.com? Is it a typo? I went onto the Futaba website and so no mention of a 9CAS. Wondering if it is an older model.

Probably meant 9CAFS. You want to get one with an "S" in the P/N like 9CAPS. S=Super which has improved programming over those without the "S". If the ad doesn't state "S", call and clarify before ordering. 9CAFS and 9CAPS are basically the same transmitter except one defaults to FM modulation when programing and the other to PCM modulation BUT both will do both. When buying a system the "F" or "P" determine if it comes with a FM or PCM RX.

I just looked at their ad. What I told you was correct and all they are offering (in the ad) are the Supers. They just abbreviated a few things and assumed everyone would understand. Apparently not
. I didn't check their prices today but they are usually very good. Shop and compare as usual. A nice feature they have is their "custom" system availability if you desire it.
