QPCM is Hitec's proprietary PCM transmission/reception protocal. Your Eclipse 7 transmitter is shift selectable and will work with 72Mhz FM/PPM receivers that are either positive or negative shift, and it will work with Hitec QPCM compatible receivers.

PCM is a digital method of transmission/reception that is generally accepted to be more resistent to interference than FM/PPM analog transmission/reception.
